Happy New Year!
Let's hope 2011 is a happy, successful and enjoyable one!
So I've chosen book #1 on my challenge - Antoine de Saint Exupery's "Le Petit Prince".
The reason being it was a Christmas present from Seb's sister (a nice coincidence considering it's on the list), and living in Lyon it's pretty much one of those things I have to do! Along with seeing the guignols and eating at a bouchon...
Le Petit Prince might take me a little while, seeing as it's in French, but I'll keep at it!
Dear Amy,
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me with your challenge and I decided to take it up as well. I dont think I can manage all 100 in one year since I'm a full time student but I decided to tackle as many as possible. Maybe set a goal for 50/100 or something? Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that I was out here and excited to hear how your reading is going. Have you finished Le Petit Prince yet? I just finished Madame Bovary and I've just started Dracula. Read either of those before?

Thank you Chamonix!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you're going to take up the challenge too!
50 out of 100 would be a great goal I think, I'm not sure if I will manage the full 100 myself either!
How was Madame Bovary? I haven't read it yet and I'd be interested to know your thoughts. I loved Dracula!
Great to hear from you and good luck! xo
